Mountz E-DRIV Electric Screwdrivers Receive NRTL Certification
Mountz, Inc. receives NRTL certification for its E-DRIV electric screwdriver products from TUV America, Inc. The handheld electric tools were tested according to the relevant safety requirements of UL60745-2-2/CA/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-2:2004 standard. The certification ensures manufacturing companies that they are purchasing and operating a quality and safe tool for its operators.
Mountz’s E-DRIV power tool line provides the complete assembly spectrum for industrial assembly applications with four styles of electric screwdrivers: BF-Series, EF-Series, K-Series and the E-Series. The different styles of electric screwdrivers provide manufacturers flexibility and ability to select the proper tool for their application.
The BF-Series is an electric screwdriver designed with a high performance brushless motor design that delivers durability and reduces the standard maintenance costs for electric screwdrivers. These brushless screwdrivers are ESD designed and prevent the occurrence of electrostatic discharge, which improves production yields, manufacturing costs, product quality, product reliability, reputation and profitability.
The EF-Series and K-Series are both a low voltage DC electric screwdrivers. These rugged assembly tools increase productivity and enhance product quality through precision torque control and user comfort. The electric screwdrivers automatically stop when the preset torque has been reached.
All three electric screwdriver models, EF-Series, K-Series and BF-Series require a power supply to operate. The STC 30 Plus power supply operates all three-screwdriver models and the unit also received a NRTL certification. The power supply features an Over Heat Protection (OHP) and Over Current Protection (OCP) that protect the electric screwdriver from damage or malfunction. The temperature detection powers down the unit and resets automatically when unit restores to acceptable levels. The STC 30 Plus power supply can also be connected to the Scout screw counter.
The E-Series electric screwdriver from the E-DRIV brand is a direct plug-in style tool. The electric screwdriver plugs directly into a power outlet and does not require a separate power supply. Crafted to rest comfortably in the operator’s hand, the E-Series reduces work fatigue with an ergonomic handgrip.
