Over the years Mountz cam-over tools have been one of our best sellers. Mountz Cam-Over Wrenches are used all over the world designed for maintenance and production applications where over-torque conditions are not tolerated. The bottom line is this technology effectively takes the guesswork out of torque delivery. The
use of cam-over wrenches takes operator influence out of the torque equation and offers more accurate and repeatable results than a standard click type wrench.
Over the years we have been asked many times if we could adapt an open, box or flare end onto a TSN standard square drive wrench. Up until now this was a difficult if not an mpossible task. At last, we have been able to develop an internally preset cam-over wrench with a 16mm spigot for interchangeable heads as a standard
product offering called the STB Wrench.
· The STB is a robust torque wrench that has been designed utilizing the patented unique "slipping" technology.
· The tool slips 110° before automatically resetting inline, reducing the possibility of over tightening.
· Compatible with 16mm spigot interchangeable wrench attachments, making for a versatile tool suitable for most applications.
· The STB has a tamper-proof internal adjustment to prevent operator influence to change the required torque setting.
· Comes standard with the new mechanical torque adjusting locking device (M-Tald). An auto-locking single key operation
that prevents tampering.
· When used with open-end fittings, ideally suited for use in hydraulic and pipe work applications.
· ESD compliant (IEC 61340-5-1:1998).
· Meets the +/- 4% repeatability requirements of ISO 6789:2003.
As most manufacturers only offer one wrench Mountz offers a variety of torque wrenches with different shapes, sizes and torque delivery mechanisms.
