PED & FED Torque Control System

The PED and FED tools are state-of-the-art torque control systems. These tools use a 32 bit RISC processor for real-time monitoring and torque control of the tightening process. The reliable tools monitor and control motor current, motor voltage and motor rpm, to ensure torque control of the tightening process. It provides repeatability of the torque applied to screws, regardless of joint characteristics and frictional differences in actual applications.

There are four components for configuring a torque control system.

1. Controller: PED III or FED III
2. Driver Series model: M, S, or A
3. Driver #: 1200, 2200, 3600 8500,
                  12K, 15K, 20K or 30K
4. Driver Series Configuration: SD, FD, SH or FH
