Conventional click wrenches can over torque a fastener. When the set torque is reached, typically a click wrench emits a loud audible “click”. The operator can feel the impulse from the tool and most break about 3 degree after set torque is reached and then become positive. This positive action can cause over-torque conditions. With the RETW torque wrench, the operator can see exactly what torque is applied. |
