The FG-40i preset torque screwdriver is engineered for fastening applications where precision and consistency are essential. Designed with Mountz cam-over technology, the screwdriver automatically releases once the preset torque is reached, preventing under- and over-tightening that can lead to damaged fasteners, assembly defects, and product failures.

Preset torque screwdrivers are optimized for applications where the same torque value is repeatedly required. The FG-40i is internally adjustable using a hex key and torque tester, allowing quality managers or technicians to securely preset the desired torque value without an external adjustment scale. If production requirements change, the tool can be recalibrated and reset using a torque analyzer for additional flexibility.

The preferred and certified ranges of these tools is in accordance with the requirements of ISO 6789 (+/- 6% of indicated setting).
