The Mountz FGC-5 preset cam-over torque wrench is a precision torque-limiting tool engineered to reduce the risk of over-torque and improve fastening consistency in critical assembly applications. Designed for error-proofing and process control, the FGC helps manufacturers achieve reliable, repeatable torque results while minimizing operator influence.

Unlike conventional click-type torque wrenches, which can allow an operator to continue applying force after the preset torque value is reached, the FGC uses a cam-over mechanism that automatically releases when the preset torque is reached. This helps prevent the operator from inadvertently applying additional torque to the fastener and reduces the risk of both under- and over-tightening caused by inconsistent operator technique.
